SmashSpeak! improve people's speaking, presenting & leadership skills in a challenging and energetic, but friendly environment. You won't walk into a room full of expert speakers, but mostly average people looking to improve their speaking and leadership. We are a diverse group with varied skills and backgrounds. New members are gradually built up from small groups to the big stage. You will soon love being the stage star. Members actively practice teamwork over individualism, for the greater good of all. The club is dynamic and always on the improve. SmashSpeak does not settle for average and puts members first. While similar clubs rely on advertising/branding, our meetings sell themselves. What We Do
Imagine being able to step onto a stage and speak about any subject ad-hock AND, present a bold, educational and inspiring speech… The BLACK LANYARD is the most potent presenting course on the planet. The ranking system provides 'challenges' by which progress and ability are measured. One works hard, builds resilience, uses visulisation and neroplasticiality to develop superior skills. Learn how to express on any topic impromptu with emotion, eloquence and sublime skill. Learn to adapt!
Reality Series
The dynamic style of SmashSpeak uniquely exposes members to modern and multiple styles of speaking and leadership to develop diverse real-world skill-sets. Thsi through super-innovative, fun and interactive series including Job Interview, Tech Support, Press Conferences, Tribunal, and many more
Practical Workshops
Interactive practical workshops are delivered by both members and professionals, with topics ranging from voice projection to hosting a wedding. Members are taught in small cohorts to ensure individual stage time, tailored experience and consolidation of knowledge gained. This includes breakout groups for enhanced learning
Debating
Practice how to be persuasive and organise your thoughts during our monthly debates. Members are divided into teams to battle in round robin rapid fire debates. Don’t worry about the technicalities, we debate ridiculous topics and have fun fun fun

I’m not a paid member, can I attend?
Definitely! We welcome everyone to visit our club so feel free to drop by at our meetings as many times as you like as a visitor.
What’s the difference of being a member and a visitor?
As a member, you’ll be able to get mentorship from experienced members, give prepared speeches, have more chances to speak at the stage, attend members-only workshops and much more!
